Maria's Tea Room

Enjoy Coffee Time in the Old World

Maria’s Tea Room is open in the historic Scholte House in Pella, the home of Pella’s founder Henry Peter Scholte and his wife Maria.

While you enjoy a Dutch "koffie tijd" with items from Pella's bakeries, meat markets, and chocolate maker, you'll hear the story of Maria Scholte, her precious pieces of Delft, and how they ended up making a path from her old house to her new one.

Maria’s Tea Room  is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, by reservation only, with seatings at 1:30pm and 3:30pm. The cost is $15 per person, and reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Please note that Maria's Tea Room hours and prices change during Tulip Time.
